Huge 2.5 inch stainless mandrel-bent tailpipe with a polished or black tip. Straight-thru Monster muffler flows up to 140% better than stock. Slashes backpressure, throaty sound. I have a Jeep TJ with the 4.0 and this kit is a good purchase for anyone looking for improved sound and performance on their Jeep. Let’s start with the pros, it is very easy to install if you know what you’re doing. I ran into a problem with my stock muffler not wanting to come off but that is just the Jeep so be weary that you have all the tools for the job. It fits very well under the Jeep and I did it myself with a little bit of outside help getting the skid plate on and off. The tube comes in two pieces not one so it did make fitment easier but I took it to a muffler shop after the install to weld the joints because the clamps weren't keeping all the air in. It sound exactly how I had hoped its loud when you put your foot into the throttle but otherwise it has a low rumble that you'll always hear. It improves the acceleration by a tiny bit but who cares you’re not supposed to go fast in a jeep any way. I have also noticed improved highway cruising in that it’s able to stay at 80 mph with ease as before the jeep struggled a little. The cons are like I mentioned above that the tail pipe is in two pieces so welding is recommended once you get it all into place. A great kit for the price will most likely be buying again for my next TJ.
