NO MORE WHITE KNUCKLE DRIVING... the exhaust held my trailer at about 60MPH on the downhill in overdrive in most areas and in the 8% area i locked out the overdrive and was able to go all the way down without touching the brakes ONCE instead of my normal slow from 80 to 55 and back. I am now a customer for life. I have the trans lock along with the banks brake, chip, and the bighead and my truck is now better than when new. I will continue to upgrade with you ... the best part of my upgrades so far... NO SMOKE and just pure awesomeness... thank you!

  • BOOM it did everything it was supposed to and did it simply. Just wanted to take a minute and say a good word about the programmer you sold me. I had a DiabloSport i2010 that was supposed to turn off my MDS and didn't. Sent it back and talked with your tech's and bought the Automind. Got it today, updated, connected to truck and BOOM it did everything it was supposed to and did it simply. NO MORE MDS on my Dodge. Love it thanks again

  • The new turbo provides the best of both worlds, off road and on. The Jeep TJ's performance was lacking from the factory, and only got worse after adding a lift, larger tires, and numerous bolt-ons. I had looked into everything from strokers to engine swaps, and nothing really fit the bill. Then I heard about the new Banks Sidewinder Turbo kit - and it was exactly what I was looking for.

    The new turbo provides the best of both worlds, off road and on.

    On the road it makes the Jeep much more enjoyable to drive, whether you're merging onto the highway, trying to pass someone on the open road, or simply running around town. It's also much more relaxed getting up mountain grades; the engine no longer struggles and you're not constantly downshifting at every curve. The extra power makes a night & day difference; the Jeep is more relaxing to drive if you just want to cruise, and a lot more fun when you want to step on it.

    Off-road is another story. The first time I took the Jeep off road with the new turbo I had a permanent grin plastered on my face, and couldn't stop using the word 'Epic'. We took the Jeep on some old fire roads and discovered we had the power to spin the tires, slide around corners, etc... My wife actually laughed at how many times I said 'Wow' and 'Epic' out on the trail that day. Then when it came time to hit the rocks the turbo continued to shine. There is no turbo-lag and it makes tremendous torque right off of idle, which is perfect for rock-crawling.

    A couple weeks later we took the Jeep to the sand dunes, and it was an animal. Before the turbo it just wasn't that much fun in the sand. There wasn't enough power to climb the big dunes or to get the tires spinning. Getting through the dunes took a lot of effort. But after the turbo it was like a whole new machine - plenty of power and torque to spin the tires, climb the large dunes, etc... We could go anywhere, and have fun doing it.

    The new turbo provides a great balance of power and drivability. It's fun getting to and from the trails, and even more fun once you get there.

  • The difference is definetely noticeable. Good engineering job! I had your exhaust and intake systems with the OttoMind programmer installed and am very satisfied with your product. I get @ 2 miles to the gallon better fuel mileage while towing a 2010 Toyota Yaris. The difference is definetely noticeable. Good engineering job!

  • Kim W., Layton, UT Where do you show testimonials for your products. Here is mine. The difference between the standard exhaust system and the New Power Pack is simply amazing. I have a 2012 Class C motorhome with the Ford E450 V10. We live in Utah and have to go up hills/mountains to go anywhere, including home. Before installing the Banks Power Pack, the motor was running about 5500 rpms going up a hill at 60 mph by our house. After the installation, the motor started at 4200 and then dropped to 3600 rpms. The additional power was amazing. Before the installation the motor was at 2500 rpm while cruising at 65 mph on the freeway, now the motor is at 2000 rpms. We have not had a chance to check the mileage but that is only a small part of the purchase. I am sure that the motor will last longer now that it can breath. I no longer feel embarrassed going up hills at either slower speeds or with the motor screaming. It is extremely satisfying to pass slower vehicles while going uphill. I now have Banks products on three vehicles.

  • It's a little belated, but I can not tell enough people how happy I am with the changes to my truck this year. It's a little belated, but I can not tell enough people how happy I am with the changes to my truck this year. We towed a 41' 5th wheel across the Sierra Nevada range, over to Coeur D'Alene Idaho, across the Continental Divide to Yellowstone and back again (4,000 miles in 20 days). The engine performed flawlessly and as advertised. It is truly a pleasure to do business with a company whose core competency is based in fact, science and experience. What a rarity to have your expectations exceeded!!

    At this time, I am considering the new water-methanol injection system for my 2002 Ford F-350 DW truck. I know the technology has been around for some time, but Banks credibility in the industry meant I wouldn't consider using it until you developed a "safe" and "EPA approved" version. I had Banks install everything on this truck with a specific purpose of towing. I don't need over the top horse power. Just safe, cool running power to tow my trailer. Oh, and thank you and Banks Power for continuing to be the benchmark for the entire industry.

  • I'm very happy I made the investment! Just wanted to send a follow-up note now that it's been over a year since I had the Banks PowerPack/iQ installed on my 2004 motorhome with the ISB 5.9L/Allison 2000 engine/transmission as well as the Banks Billet Torque Converter. I couldn't be happier with the performance of my motorhome. We just returned from a 2000 mile vacation trip and another trip to southern California in which we traveled with my sister and her husband who also own a motorhome but with the larger ISC/3000 engine/transmission combination. On previous trips, before the Banks equipment was installed, I could not keep up with them when climbing steep hills and to my amazement I can now actually gain on them while climbing those same grades!

    I would also stress when coming into West Los Angeles before the Banks gear was installed because I couldn't keep up with traffic and merging was painful when you are the slowest vehicle. I no longer have that problem and can keep up with traffic - much safer too!

    My transmission never heats up over 200° even in 101° weather and I do feel I have more control when using the exhaust brake due to the new torque converter.

    I'm very happy I made the investment! I don't normally send this type of note but I am really satisfied with my motorhome's performance!

  • I would just like to say what a dream it was to install your products. I would just like to say what a dream it was to install your products. The exhaust fit perfectly, and the instructions were very clear. I have airbag suspension for towing heavy trailers and I was worried about interference, however there was no problem. The Ram-Air intake was a breeze, and I think it is a huge improvement to the overall performance of the truck. I am a firm believer in getting what you pay for, and in the case of the Stinger system I think I got my moneys worth. Thank you very much Banks for your splendid products.

  • I want to send a note of thanks and appreciation I want to send a note of thanks and appreciation to all of you at Banks Engineering; I could not have had a better experience than what I had in this most excellent adventure with your team in the development of the intercooled turbo for my 04 Jeep LJ 4.0 installed with the torque tubes and Monster exhaust.

    From the first experience with Nick in sales and his best efforts to keep me informed of the potential time line for development of a turbo for my model and year to extending my desires to your engineering team and then the subsequent offer to allow the use of my Jeep for development team he made it happen. As the engineering project lead and developer Matt kept me informed of the activities that were happening with the Jeep development and always made me feel 100% confident in the activities as well as the quality of the overall product.

    When your team realized that a Jeep in Phoenix with soaring ambient temps in the 115⁰ range with the need to Jeep at much higher recreational elevations to get away from the heat they offered and developed a water to air intercooler that gives a significant power boost and also increases overall performance. The Banks team allowed me to come pick the Jeep up and test it on two separate occasions to give the engineers quality feedback on how the performance was and what needed to be tweaked. Each time I needed a ride to or from the Ontario airport your team was willing and able. During those rides with Erick I received excellent feedback on what was happening with the Jeep as well as other aspects of Banks Engineering and the pride of working for Banks Engineering oozed from Erick, Erick is certainly a good ambassador for your company.

    I had a most pleasurable experience in meeting Gale Banks and that was certainly a bonus to all of the wonderful things that I experienced during this 4 month odyssey. I am now looking forward to many adventures with this system and hope that from time to time I will be able to send short reports on the long-term drivability of the products and send pictures of where your team has given me the opportunity to go.

    I have already had the opportunity to show your product to many of the Jeep guys that I know as well as one of our local 4x4 shops (Desert off-road) and I will continue to promote as much as is possible. One of the items that gets brought up by most that I talk to is the horror that many have experienced or have been told about around the social media clubs in regards to the computer mapping issues with other turbo or supercharger systems. They claim they never run right and maybe that is true but I tell them that I had this professionally installed and the computer side was done so well that it runs flawlessly to a level that I would think it was a factory installed system.

    Clearly the team at Banks knows their stuff and they do not need tens of thousands of miles of Beta testing before releasing a new computer mapping. If you ever want me to take the Jeep to any specific shop or show it to a potential user please feel free to send a message and I will be happy to help with letting your product speak for itself.

  • I might be sleeping in the shed but, I'm a happy camper! I just wanted you to know that once again, I received my order in great time and packaged very well! Your S&R Dept do very good work and I commend them for this.

    I know you must speak to a lot of people every work day and you may not remember but, I told you in the past that I wasn't very mechanically inclined but I do like to change my own oil and easy tasks like that.

    Well, the instructions that came with all my parts were so well detailed that after reading over all of this, I thought to myself: I think I can do this!
    I gathered all my tools and began. I'm so excited I can't hardly believe it! I've got it all hooked up! YES!!!!
    I received it all on a Friday ( Good shipping to S. Louisiana in 5 days! Pretty cool.
    Saturday morning I began. Now you've got to realize, I'm kinda slow, not too sure of myself, had to go back over papers and read carefully,
    trying to prevent any mistakes. You know the drill, pulled right front wheel, drilled & tapped exhaust manifold for EGT probe.
    Went to work on Big-Head Actuator. Wrapped that up and tackled Six Gun Tuner. Feeling pretty good, Frank!
    Once I got the IQ mounted and wired, I thought, well, I'm going to re-attach battery cables, say a prayer & awaken the beast!

    I might be sleeping in the shed but, I'm a happy camper!

I used to have overheat issues on Vail Pass. Now it runs cool while on an 8% grade at 11,000 feet above sea level. Fuel economy and power have increased as advertised. Have a great day.

The engine clearly performs better, and with a little V6 in my Jeep, I need to squeeze every last bit of power I can without breaking the bank. I was very impressed with the new intake. Coupled with a throttle body spacer and a high flow exaust, I couldn't have asked for a better, more durable product. Keep it up!

    I know it may seem like an odd request, but I was curious if you had any promotional stickers available? Or if you could point me in the right direction. I recently purchased a new camping cooler and I wanted to put my favorite company logos on it. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

  • I have no regrets having installed the Banks. I installed a Banks PowerPack with Ottomind and TransCommand module. I climbed the same hills with the same load and same wind. The steepest grade was the Georgetown,CO. Before the Banks stuff the best speed I could make was 45mpg. After the Banks it was 57 mph in drive with the overdrive switched off. If I dropped from drive to the next lowest gear, which is 2nd, I could accelerate more, but 57 was fast enough for me without a lot of high rpms. Later I tested the miles per gallon. On level terrain, at 7,000' elevation, no winds, the best average I could get was 10.1 mpg, with the Banks system I got 10.7. average speed 58 mph.

    The TransCommand adjusts the shifting. I notice that the time lapse from one gear to another is quicker and smoother. Also there is less hunting for the correct gear (constant changing of gears as your speed changes as you climb various grades). I can climb longer in a high gear before it shifts into a lower gear.

    I can stay at the posted speed limits on the two lane mountain roads now. Before the Banks I would cause a slow down because I couldn't maintain posted speeds. It is much more relaxing to drive now knowing that I'm going the speed limit on those roads where it's impossible for someone else to pass because of hills and curves. On interstate roads I keep it at 60 mph as it's easy for other to pass.

    I have no regrets having installed the Banks.

I just finished installing your header on my 2001 Cherokee. Right out of the box the quality was evident, but after all, there's a LOT of bends and welds on that little beauty. I have purchased three systems over the last decade from one of your competitors that were also high quality, they just didn't fit without me having to substantially modify them. On your header the install was somewhat difficult as one might expect but I couldn't believe how perfect EVERYTHING fit. Please thank you people for taking pride in what they do—it sure shows and us consumers sure appreciate it.

  • I am extremely impressed with the quality of the components and performance of BANKS POWER and am proud to have the Banks stickers on my truck! A few months ago I had your company install a Big Hoss Bundle on my 2005 Ford F-350 6.0L and I am simply amazed at the performance.  I have always kept a very close eye on my fuel economy and prior to the installation by your Banks Power employees I would consistantly get 16.7 MPG around town and the very best I could do on the freeway was 18.7 MPG.  Now after having the Big Hoss Bundle installed for a few months, I can report that not only has the power of my truck improved DRAMATICALLY but I am getting an honest 3MPG increase in fuel economy!  I am extremely impressed with the quality of the components and performance of BANKS POWER and am proud to have the Banks stickers on my truck!  Way to Go!

  • Wow, what a difference!!! The OttoMind arrived today. Wow, what a difference!!! All the hesitation disappeared. Now when I step on the throttle, the truck launches forward immediately, whether from a dead stop or cruising at 70mph. I have not been this happy since I picked up my F250 Power Stroke from you guys years ago and this is just a program upgrade.
