Great, but sound suppression lacking...

Installed this product a few weeks back. Definite improvement over factory parts. Only negative is sound suppression. With the engine between driver and passenger, the sound at any acceleration or load is double or triple that of the factory intake. I believe both performance and sound suppression would be achievable.
